I’m running it next at the FLGS for thier Wednesday night D&D. I announced it yesterday and there lots of happy faces.

The main complaint is that it could have been longer. Whichbis fair, it could have been longer.

Spelljammer shows up on today's USA Today bestseller list (representing sales from Monday the 15th through Sunday the 21st) at #13.

Players handbook is at #1 in D&D again. Note it selling at $22 now on Amazon. Spelljammer is just barely 2nd though, 58 vs 59. Weird.

There's on onboarding surge right now. Many books discounted on Beyond as well.

I expect sales numbers for Stormwreck Isle to be very strong as well. I'm hearing of constant outages at Target, who ordered up because this is their third product release.

Once again, this is more evidence that the 2024 version will be less than a 5.5. This game remains more popular than ever, still growing. And its biggest advertisement ever is in March 2023

2024 definitely isn’t the traditional move of rpg companies. WotC is doing something different and like many things commenters and historians are fighting the last war.

I am surprised how high HotDQ is still selling for #42 in gaming far more than many adventures. Also it is only $19 currently, which is making it hard not to grab a copy for friends.

I am wondering if I really understand how this works though. Out of simple curiosity is Pathfinder not selling well on Amazon because I didn't find a single ranked book in Gaming. Am I missing something or does everyone purchase direct through Paizo?

The books are in different categories. Which makes it kinda difficult to compare. Though some WotC books are in overlapping categories.

It has to be one of the buzziest things released for 5e since 2014.
