Can we get an achievements system here at ENWorld? I feel like I need one for actually reading to the end of a 64-page thread.

Sometimes I read to the end of a 50 page thread, and kick back a moment to enjoy that warm-fuzzy feeling of accomplishment.
Then I click refresh and see that the thread ballooned to 70 pages while I was warm-fuzzying.

No actual alpha male has ever called themselves an alpha male.
Also, the whole alpha thing has no scientific basis and the scientist who came up with it, after studying wolves in captivity -- not the wild -- has spent the past 50 years trying to get everyone to stop using the term.

Yep. The "alphas" of the wolf packs were just the parents. "Alpha wolves" do not exist, so "alpha humans/males" definitely do not.
