    Best D&D Adventures

I'm such a sucker for these things. Here's my list: 1. Gary Gygax, "Dungeon Module G3 Hall of the Fire Giant King" (Lake Geneva, WI, TSR Games: 1978) 2. Harold Johnson and Tom Moldvay, "Dungeon Module A2 Secret of the Slavers Stockade" (Lake Geneva, WI, TSR Hobbies, Inc.: 1981) 3. Tracy and...

Responses to Questions about the DI

Well, that's just... Huh. Gleemax. Rolls right off the tongue. Certainly has a strong brand affiliation with Dungeons and Dragons websites I wouldn't want showing up on my credit card. Scott, is this person for real? You seem to come across as a professional in your field. Is this part of...

    Has the wave crested? (Bo9S)

I have it - It's certainly interesting. Flavor-wise and rules-wise, I'm treating it like Tome of Magic. When I decide to create a campaign that uses these rules (with the appropriate campaign/world history), I will allow them in the game. Just have not gotten around to it yet. ~D

Liz Schuh on Dragon/Dungeon moving to the web

Word. I agree - People have an individual choice to continue to support WOTC's direction. Every product purchased from WOTC is a vote that will have their leadership nodding to themselves and smirking, "Told you so. Starve them for content, and they will come to whatever table we set out...

ashockney - excellent points. I believe that "those that were chosen" are actually chosen by "those that buy"; Being one of that number, I continue to have HOPE - that those that are chosen choose to hear those that BUY; Only time will tell if I and my compatriots are the minority, or...

    Queen of the Demonweb Pits...anyone?

As a physical book, it's really gorgeous. As an adventure, I just can't get past the "planescape flavor". Some folks love this, but for me, it is a bit of a different game if you know what I mean. The adventure starts at 9th level and characters very quickly hop into Sigil before some fairly...

What's up with Tower Shield? And is there a better way.

Pit trap? They have one (OK a few) of those in A2 as well. You walk up a sloped corridor to a door - 10ft in front of the door is a pit. Not too deep though; 20ft with water at the bottom so minor damage (the pit remains open). When the door is opened however (note, in the module, the trap is...

What's up with Tower Shield? And is there a better way.

Yeah bullrush is a no brainer: The gobbies have a Str of 11 and -4 on their check vs. a medium attacker. The attacker charges for +2 on the check and no AOO for the goblin hiding behind the shield. A good chance the little guy will get pushed back a bit for the next PC in line to run up and...

Oooh. Yeah - Maybe even a So Soft Pinkie Pie Pony! (http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=ps_results&product_id=19045) I'm actually quite serious regarding wanting to know what they have in store for Print. If DI is in flux, I'm hoping we can at least get a better glimpse into the current...
