13 kinds of warlocks? Why?

I don't really specifically see the problem. Nor honestly do I care if their happen to be 666 different arcane class builds and only 192 fighter variations. Is it a contest? Let each be judged by what it brings to the table that is interesting and unique. By that criteria there are various builds of any number of classes that aren't justified.

DracoSuave, Subtle weapons got erattaed a year ago; they're an Item bonus now.

Good way to get to wear something other than IAoP/BomS. Bad way to double up on damage bonuses.

First Post
On the thirteenth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Thirteen cabals of Warlock,
Twelve schools of wizard,
Eleven faiths of clerics,
Ten angry fighters,
Nine sneaky rogues,
Eight lost rangers,
Seven clanking paladins,
Six rampant warlords,
Five singing bards,
Four seasons of druids,
Three power pointless psions,
Two tanned vampires,
And a lonely runepriest in a pear tree!

Why? Because Warlocks are tasty role-playing goodness. If Hexblades had already existed, in PHB1, then it wouldn't have taken most of my Heroic feats just to do my basic character concept. OK, it probably would have anyway.
