I'm actually very surprised by how against the idea of "golf-bag fighter" is in this community. I thought that was the default of the fighter anyways.

You keep a greatsword for maximum damage, a longsword and shield if your goal is to have extra AC, a bow/xbow for ranged situations, a lance (if you have a reliable mount), a net because why not, and a few holy waters, acids, and alchemist's fires.

Having even more weapons with even more unique properties and uses really builds into the fantasy I have of "general master of weapons."
Until you get a reasonable magic weapon and then all the others stay in the holster.

And this to be honest is why I don't rate Treantmonk at all. His instincts every time I've run into them have been bad. Here's a clear example of this.
He's an optimizer who runs actual builds and shows his math. He's not someone who just makes videos based on his instincts.

That said, I would be happy to watch your video. If I like them, I might pay you every month like I do Treantmonk. And I mean that with zero snark. You should get into that . I think you'd be good.

A magic greatsword doesn't change the fact that a greatsword can't hit from a distance. (Unless it does but I'm assuming its not some homebrew Magic Item).

You still need a mini-arsenal to keep yourself prepared. And if you get several +# magic items the principle remains.

That is what I like about him also, he shows his math and his baseline assumption. I like being able to check the numbers. I look forward to his video.

I spend all my life training with weapons and swords.

Now I can use a burst of energy to scam people by talking faster.

Can't say that I see it... but it's a niche of a situation so it's not going to hurt to have it.
um you don't think a soldier can have talents other then soldier?
You do know in the real world our weapon masters have day jobs

Then they have persuasion from their background. Same as any other class can have. Maybe they spend a feat on it.
But what does that have to do with being a fighter?

But again. I don't see much harm, and fighters really could use any out of combat boost they can get. So why not?
