It took 50 years for either of the D&D IP owners to admit the existence of charming warriors. So sad.

And the fighters still stink at it as you can't really afford CHA over 14.
Maybe if we had the abaility to use Cha as an attack stat. Maybe if we had an abaikity to 1/day apply a charm condition.

Consider yourself lucky, they probably thought at first of making it a spell instead: Fighter's Charming Personality.

Like shooting a volley of arrows, or crafting a snare or scribing a spell from a scroll to your spellbook...
 

Let Fighters add their proficiency bonus to their Armor class and weapon damage for the weapons / armor they specialize in. Let them add 2 times PB to attack rolls at later levels.

Split the 9 or so mastery properties between Heavy, Light, and Versatile as effects you can declare on a hit. Scrap the separate system.

Allow the Fighter to commission/forge an artifact weapon similar to the spell crafting system they’ve given to Wizard.
