[Adventure] Rage of the Savage Lands (DM: Dekana, Judge: TwoHeadsBarking)

GM: Everyone who was injured, please let me know how much you heal for the next time you post. If you don't, I'll go ahead and assume you heal to full without using Beatrice's ability.

The party stops to regain their breath. At least 15 minutes pass, and there is no sign of the the bird-lizards coming back. Scarm, while he is so close to the cluster of trees, notices something shiny buried inside the undergrowth! He takes a look when Beatrice has stabilized and finds a pristine tunic with a gold shimmer, as well as a mundane pair of ripped brown trousers. There doesn't seem to be a corpse belonging to the clothes or any other nearby possessions; how curious.

[sblock=treasure!]Scarm finds a Shimmering Cloth Armor +2 (from his wishlist).[/sblock]
When everyone is rested and ready, the heroes continues walking in their original heading. Barely a half hour later, the lizardfolk village finally comes into sight through the trees. The entire place is surrounded by a wooden palisade of sharpened logs, jutting outward menacingly. The wall is knocked down in several places. Inside the village, sturdy tents and a few wooden shacks litter the area with no real sense of organization. You see no lizardfolk and no bodies.

As you step into the village, you start to hear the cawing of more birds. At first it's just one or two, but soon it sounds like an entire flock. You look up and see something most ominous - an unkindness of ravens perched in the trees overhead. They glare at you with unnatural red eyes and caw angrily at your intrusion.

I would have them all on a skewer if that big girl did not start attacking the lizard people...

And Eithal hears Biatrice, "Thayat gal, waz turayin' tah sayve yoah butt! An' it woulddah been nice iff'n yew wouldda hayelped!", the warden runs over to her, "Yew showah ain't yoah sayelf Beetrees."
OOC: Eithal will take 3 healing surges to full. BTW: Thanks for RPing me. Things have been really crazy for me lately. Feel free to throw me a mention if you start getting annoyed with me .

"Beatrice, you were defending the one who was trying to kill us... beware next time we meet some of them. Now, let's go, I don't want any of there friend find us here, and the corpse will bring all kind of creature I am not sure I want to meet."

Crazy kids... Beatrice mutters to herself. She did not know why they considered the lizard people the big girl was trying to kill the enemies. They did not look dangerous to her.

Shoo! Get away you stupid birds! Beatrice yells to the birds, taking her frustrations out on them. Now let's go look for some clues before that girl starts attacking the ravens for no reason!

OOC: Perception check to look for clues = 13 :-S

[sblock=wishlist item]That should be shimmering cloth. Shimmering leather doesn't exist. Thanks![/sblock]
Not having been injured, "Harold" paces around restlessly while the others take a breather.

As they come within sight of the lizardfolk village, he sighs. "Not ravens again," mutters "Harold."

OOC: Thanks for NPCing me. Great time off, and now I'm back.

Yishim flinches at the sight of the unkindness. It wasn't so long ago that some of those almost did me in. If it weren't for the goddess's intervention... He trails off.

Prepare for anything, he cautions.

OOC: Now if only someone would NPC me when I take too long to post! I'll have something up tomorrow; get ready for a skill challenge to find your clues.

Mewness: Thanks, shimmering cloth armor it is. I'll retcon the last post.
