Labraundos sees Ashurn wavering under the large centipede's bite and offers a prayer to Joven to help him. The god looks kindly on them and the effects of the insect's poison dissipate before they can do any more damage.

Once more, Labraundos swings the flat of his greataxe down into the mass nearby and more of the smaller centipedes are flattened.

Feeling the need for a moment's respite, he steps back, feeling a little woozy from all of the doses of poison.

He bellows and stamps his hooves in a challenge; even if it isn't answered, he's ready to go in again.

Minor action: Labraundos uses Divine Mettle to give Ashurn an extra save: 16, success!

Centipede Swarm 1 is subject to Divine Sanction.

Divine Sanction
Some Paladin Powers and Feats subject a target to your Divine Sanction. Being subject to it means that the target is marked by you for a duration specified in the description of the Power or Feat. Unless otherwise noted, the mark ends before the specified duration if someone else marks the target.
Until the mark ends, the target takes 3 points of Radiant Damage the first time in each round that it makes an attack that doesn't include you as a target.
Divine Sanction is meant to complement Divine Challenge. You can use Divine Challenge to mark one creature and Divine Sanction to mark others. Divine Sanction has fewer restrictions than Divine Challenge so that you can easily use the two in concert.

Flervin side-steps to further avoid getting hit by a neighboring swarm. He bears down on the Swarm before him and swings his claws through the mass. He ends up misjudging the distance and misses the swarm.

OOC: Thanks Neil for that save! :) And as per the rolls, Cent. Scuttler 1 should be dead.

Ashurn grimace at the painful bite of the insect and looks down upon the wound which is starting to turn green. Just before the poison takes effect, a soothing light washes over the wound and rendered the poison inert. "Thanks for your aid Labraundos!". With that said, Ashurn slide to his left circling around the centipede before striking it in a vital spot, dropping it to the floor and rolling backwards as he withdrew his dagger, giving himself some room to tend to his own wounds later.

Nicodemus breaths one last alien skull, over the new front most part of the swarm. He moves backward and then left, still difficult to see for all the bobbing blobs of energy around him. A Brightly bobbing sprite explodes right at ground level, illuminating a path of burning radiance as it beams strait into the heart of the swarm.

OOC: Is there another online dice roller that tracks the rolls available with invisible castle down? Should we just post our roll mods and let our illustrious DM roll em at home? With enworld losing it's own roller we have limited options now.

Seeing the rogue take the severe bite, Emsy moves up and sings softly to the bloody human. The sursurrus tones lull the man back a step as his wounds knit themselves together in time with the song. Then turning to heaving swarm, the deva's nimble finger fly over the holes in her flute blending notes into a churning and fiery melody. "Its time we ended this." Smoldering embers rain down over the entirety of the swarm setting the very ground ablaze as half the mass falls still and the other half bolts from the zone of sizzling death.

OOC: Looks like the Argent Rain will kill the remaining swarm when it starts its turn- but Lenyara doesn't know that...


Lenyara blinked at the sudden eruption of eerie flames around the twisting swarms. She lashed out reflexively with both of her weapons, stirring the swarm like a pot of soup. Split into smaller groups, the remaining bugs cooked even more quickly in the unnatural fire.
