Pathfinder 1E airwalkrr's Rise of the Runelords AE PBP Reborn! [OOC]

Airwalkrr, does my previous IC post not count?
It counts. I see no reason why not.
Nuko'd like to use color spray (15' cone) on the commando & his dog & as many goblins as possible. Is he able to get in position to do so, and how many can he get?
The commando is 10' from his comrades so I would think no more than one other goblin if including the commando + dog (which occupy the same square). I'll leave it to your discretion.

I thought it would take Thrindar 2 minutes to don the armor. So I figured he was not in the combat yet.

Tailspinner, for future reference, I will not assume the party is splitting up unless there is a clear and direct decision to do so among the entire group. The time was for reference as to how long the party would need to wait before moving on and may (or may not) have an effect on future events. As to this situation, I assume the rest of the party waited for Thrindar (helping where they could) as he donned the armor before moving north.

The reason I do not like to split up the party has more to do with my capacity to keep things straight in my head than anything else though. When multiple players are off on extended side quests within the same thread it is easy for me to lose track of who is where and what they are doing. Rest assured, I will not unduly punish you for sticking together any more than I would for splitting up. Usually staying together is the safest thing to do but occasionally splitting up will allow you freedoms you may not have in a group (such as sending a stealthy scout ahead or splitting up in a town to gather information). Either way these should be group decisions, with the party leader (Jamir at the moment) having final say in the event of no consensus. Hopefully, you find this all reasonable.

Actually, I said that Nuko went to the North gate right away. He should have been there a few minutes earlier. I didn't press the point this time but I'm not OK with this kind of railroading becoming a regular thing, and I especially am not going to tolerate having to clear my actions with a so-called party leader.

Airwalkrr, I fully support players working together as a group if it makes things easier for you as a DM. In the long run, I have personally found PbP games are more enjoyable when people try to work together and engage in social interaction IC. Otherwise it just feels too much like a CRPG or a board game.

Airwalkrr, I don't disagree with what perrinmiller just said. Restrictions on PC actions are another matter entirely though. You must trust us enough to let us go off alone; we are all experienced players and know how to metagame a reunion in order to keep the game moving.

In the current situation, you could easily have solved the problem by not letting the bad guys show up until the other PCs did.

Why does it matter? More innocents than just a dog could have been killed while those of us who were ready to go waited around and twiddled our thumbs. Nuko was forced to act like a coward, when he wanted to boldly go and help.
