You could fire than move putting you 40' up (is your spider climb speed the same as your normal movement?)
A creature only climbs at 1/2 speed don't think it will catch you.

Movement speed is 20' for climbing. Will post tomorrow... sorry for the delay
Sorry I missed the update, woke up at 3:30 PM today, and then parents needed me to do stuff, etc...

Yeah, I meant PM. 3:30 in the afternoon. I stay up late and wake up late, unless mom wakes me up earlier. I sleep far longer than I want to unless woken up. But meh, nothing major happens early in the day on Enworld anyway.

Well, HM, I could probably take a look at his stuff, but I think he said most of his build was book of nine swords, not totemist. I could probably point out a decent enough move in the situation, depending. For the saving throw, it'd only be necessary if the fight was going to last long enough that refreshing the affliction would be necessary(And the Sickening blast is a FORT save not a WILL save, and you stated you did a will roll for it, so I wasn't sure if he actually failed.)
