I remember they were avoiding all cons and interviews, then all of a sudden they end up at Manganiello's table. 🤦‍♂️
I don't know who manganiello is, but yeah, they didn't stick the landing (tbf even people who LOVE martins writing admit the reason he hasn't published in a decade is cause he is having trouble sticking the landing)

except the 'what they feel is right' we disagree on... I am betting (and hopeing) they don't cut huge parts out of the PHB... the fact that sorcerers and clerics will be allowed make me think I am right.

I have no idea what WotC feels is right, that can go either way, for the pros and cons we both are familiar with
 

I’d argue it is not selling well / badly because of that but for some other, more important issue.

I doubt 99.99% of potential buyers care about this one way or the other, and that is probably too low
discussions with 0 ability to change someones mind makes it an odd way to have a discussion. If wotc comes out and says "Hey we didn't want to limit players" would that do it? I bet not cause they already said that about class...
