I have hijacked the IC thread somewhat. Sorry.
And Zim, the halfling Dyer, is clearly the most mischievous of the halfling brothers/siblings. His constant pranks tend to get the other halflings in trouble.
Dudles is a parsnip farmer, not a turnip farmer. Dunno if that could work into the rivalry?
I guess I should mention you CAN spend your copper pieces. Yeah, you can't afford much but you never know when some odd bit of gear will come in useful.
Amen. And welcome to Alaric and co. Hopefully the other half of our group will make an appearance soon.
On a related note, Narančasta (which means Orange) and Alaric the Blue (humm ...) could make a knight and squire combination. Only Narančasta is definitely not a local (and whose stated reasons for visiting may or may not be his real reasons) and from the IC post, it seems that Alaric is local. That been said, the Alaric could be a local, and allowing him to visit his hometown may be one of Narančasta's "reasons". Humm, I think that even I am getting confused. At one point Narančasta did contemplate making Bijela his Squire, but I think that Page would be a much better, and more likely, option. And easy to edit the IC to reflect.
Anyway, I quite like the idea of linking these two, but am easy either way.
I like that!
Alaric is going to go Wizard, if he survives. I see him as from a good family with connections in their own right. He's likely with Narancasta so he can see the world, and he's a very fast learner, and not stronger than an average man. That said, Narancasta's gear as never been in better order, and he does a very good job maintaining it all (knows all about oils, little tips from Alchemists he's talked to; and horse care for things like what herbs to feed a horse with an upset stomach, etc.)
Zim and Xim; I intentionally re-spelled Zim's name to match Xim; I can change it. Was thinking maybe they're related. Zim is a trickster, and way too smart for other people's good. (if only he could go wizard...)
