Heart of Artifice Temporary--Kharas Alone

[Rystil Arden]

(OOC: Indeed, he is doing very well!)

*Kharas disrupts the spirit, and Elysia hits it again, although her attack is fairly weak.*

(OOC: Kharas does 10, Elysia 4)

*The spectral phantom attempts to hit Kharas again and fails, so it five-foot-steps into the wall.*

(OOC: Kharas's turn. It's in the wall)

 

[Velmont]

Kharas move away from the wall and make a ready action to hit the ghost when it come out. "At 0, we just move foward and leave him behind. 5..., 4..." If he doesn't come out next round, Kharas will lead Elysia away from it.

 

[Rystil Arden]

*It doesn't come out. Kharas leads Elysia away. As they travel, Elysia activates some Thelanium and fiddles with some glass and metal frames for a while. Then she comes up with some spectacles and puts them on.*

"Hey, do I look smarter wearing these?" she jokes, "Uh oh, it's in the wall ahead and it's going to jump out and get you when you walk past--" she points at a random stretch of wall.

 

[Velmont]

"Thanks." Kharas continue, but stay away form eth wall and ready an action after each move action. When it come out, he strikes the creature.

 

[Rystil Arden]

(OOC: You aren't allowed to ready an action out of combat. We have to roll initiative to see who goes first if both are aware instead of automatically allowing one person to do so --Elysia at least gives him that fighting chance )

*The ghostly figure darts out of the wall, and Kharas freezes for just an instant too long, but Elysia fires a force pulse, unfortunately missing terribly. The creature has better luck in attacking Kharas, who loses even more of his zest for life.*

(OOC: 2 more Cha damage, 7 total. Kharas goes now)

 

[Velmont]

Kharas swing his mace and hit easily the creature for another solid blow.

*Kharas's mighty blow dissipates the creature easily. Hopefully, that's the last of them. Elysia sighs at the relief of tension as the last Unforged is defeated, as the sound of bats screeches in the far distance.*

"Come on, I want to get out of here as soon as possible." tells Kharas as he leads the way again.

*Kharas leads the way forward, hoping to find an exit to these seemingly endless catacombs. As they enter a large chamber, Elysia's light scares some of the bats roosting on the cavern ceiling, and they begin to stir up into a frenzied swarm, flying every which way through the air.*

(OOC: While Bat Swarm is forming, Kharas can go)

"Let's hurry, I have nothing to affect those bastards." tells Kharas, who continue, trying to avoid the swarm.
