D&D 5E Horizon Walker and Rogue dual class question

Sneak attack damage is weapon damage. Planar Warrior, once per turn, makes weapon damage into radiant damage.

Does that imply that Horizon Walker 3/Rogue X can transform sneak attack damage into Force damage. If so, makes a powerful damage combo

I thought overpowered as some high powered creatures are resistant to weapon damage, thereby reducing sneak attack damage potential. But Force damage is resistant by 1 creature. That is why I thought it was OP

I guess I just don't think a single character being able to bypass some damage resistances is OP.

Can't agree that this is OP. Piercing resistance isn't rare, but it's not super common either.

It sounds like that will work.
It's not overpowered because he can only do it once per turn. The rest of the time (Reaction, Extra Attack, whatever) will be normal Weapon damage.

Although (for style and flair) the Rogue may not appreciate a holy strobe light embedded in his blade
