The thought of banning a spell has never even crossed my mind - until now.
In my campaign, psychoportation powers have been harnessed per an idea someone had (ideas aren't copyrightable by the way, the U.S. Copyright Office sez so). Teleport, psionic has been embedded in devices that help you bridge certain chasms. The same with dimension door, psionic. I've been tinkering with ideas on a culture that harnesses and incorporates psychokinesis and other psionic disciplines into technology. The most incorporated is psychokinesis, since a kinetic (savant) uses psychokinesis to control kinetic energy. The least incorporated is metacreativity, since most shapers do not embed their powers into tech. They use their powers to help create tech, but not to allow tech to create something.maddman75 said:- You cannot teleport to a place you haven't physically been. Solves the scry-buff-teleport issue
Crothian said:None. I have yet to ever ban a spell. I thinking banning a spell is admitting defeat.
Tatsukun said:Well, I use a home brew, less fantasy, less magic, so no travel spells (teleport and the like) and I changed Raise Dead a bit.
I haven't banned any because of balance issues, yet...
