To Tirion the bear nods "Aye, those reavers are gathering in the hills to the north of here. They are being guided by servant of the evil below. The orks would not normally act as such, but its evil and dark influence is whipping them into a frenzy of bloodlust. Oh they are evil, twisted killers and love nothing more then causing destruction. But they are not overly brave or suicidal, and to attack the humans in their fortress homes is overly folly."

She thinks and looking at Levanna she adds "To go to this town might be foolish but I would at least try. But mayhap there is another way. There is a druid in the Suss Forest whom owns my mate and I a favor... I will return to the forest and gain his aid and then pull the walls down around those fools who have imprisoned him. But first I will help you destroy these orks as payment for the information you have given me...

“We thank you for your aid,” Tirion told the were-bear. “We would offer our own, as well, to free your mate, if you wish, though we also have our own mission to the south,” he admitted. “How many orcs were in the hills?” he asked her. “What kind of force are we to expect?” He hoped the farmers could round up enough fighters. Orcs tended to be tough and numerous, if not overly intelligent.”

The female thinks for a second "My mate was better at numbers then I, but I wold say three score all told. They are camped in a small switchback, backed up against some caves in the hills. Most of them are ork, but a good number of this tribe is also something called "orogs". Their leader is cunning bastard who has survived many campaigns. They is someone who deals in dark magic also in the camp, I believe the one guiding them. I know little about this creature except that it serves the evil below.

During the day time hours they mostly stay underground in the caves with few guards outside. There are a few tents outside the caves where they must keep supplies or something. As my mate was not there I did not check.

Levanna tilted her head down and raised a curled finger to her chin.

"Three score orcs, plus a wielder of magic. Those are numbers of great concern. I fear we would not be able to confront them directly. At least not without the villagers. Even then they would suffer greatly..." she said, her voice low and graven.

Of their own accord, her thoughts were again cast back to the night her family fled from Elmvale. Carried by her father, she had watched over his shoulder through tear stained eyes as the orange glow and the chorus of screams receeded into the darkness and faded to nothing as the village died.

Levanna shook her head to banish the memory.

"Yet the price of inaction could be disasterous for them," she said as her expression hardened. "This camp of theirs... Do you know the land well? Could there be an indirect way to strike at them? Perhaps through the caves or through cunning use of the hills?"

My mate and I have hunted through these lands many a summer. There are caves throughout those hills and mayhap many lead to various exists. I doubt the orks have bothered to map or explore them. I could search quickly to mayhap find one...
