Chuckling, Dandin holds up a staying hand to his allies. Then puts a finger to his lips. "Shh... He's sleeping." he whispers before breaking out into a full grin. "Anyone have some rope?"

Angis wiped his axe clean on one of the dead bugbears and came around the building to stare down at the sleeping bugbear.

“Guid job, lad,” he told Dandin. He pulled some rope out of his pack, kicked the bugbear’s weapons clear, and tied the beast up securely. “Let’s see if we c’n get some answers out o’ this bloke. Then we kill ‘im.”

Angis took the flat of his axe and whacked the bound bugbear across the face to wake him.

Drui steps forward, offering another bundle of rope from his own pack. After that, he looks around, studying the results of goblinoid presence once more, but he
says nothing.

Tommi continues to explore the large building, when he hears the end of the battle outside. "Alright, lads?" he calls from inside, and seeks to identify how long these creatures have occupied this buildig, and where the former owners might be.
 

Dandin checks to see that the dwarves are taking good care of their new friend and then starts grabbing rocks and sticks and arranging them into a glyph. As he works, he says... "This'll just take about 10 minutes, unless anyone speaks goblin?"

Drui stood there considering the implications of Dandin's observations. He couldn't imagine himself speaking goblin language. It seemed fairly complex to him, particularly when compared to the lack of cultural development they'd met thus far. The idea stuck with him for years, all because of this linguist. He met the man ages ago. He drank lightly, but talked in length and detail. He went on and on about phonetics and alphabets, and insisted in how beautifully complex goblinoid dialects were. He dreamed of studying a goblin tribe up close, he said, for he loved and admired the small, primitive creatures. Funny. Love and admiration didn't stop them from eating him a short while after they'd met. Or so Drui heard.

Drui shivered at the thought, and muttered a "Gods, no!" in answer to Dandin.

"Ain't no one hurt, I reckon?" - he continues, wishing his thoughts away.

The bugbear shook the effects of Dandin's sleep-spell, his own hangover, and the force of Angis slap out of his head and stared daggers at the dwarves.

Tommi found signs that the goblinoids had occupied the brewery for a day or two, though they were running through the farm's food stores at a high rate. They had likely been eating, drinking, and sleeping the entire time they'd been there. There were no signs of the family or workers - thankfully not even bodies.
 

Snake looked at the bugbear as he was waking, he turned to Dandin, “I never took to the goblin tongue, it was always a little harsh too my liking.”

“What are we going to ask this shaggy fella?”
