Pathfinder 1E [IC] - TIDERULER OF MARAN

OOC: Hagadark has the stun potion ready and will throw the stun granade as soon as it is clear Marius succeeds or someone else starts swinging.

Hagadark is so focused on that single instant in time he needs to throw the bomb that all other considerations pale in comparison. He reacts slowly to any new stimulus as he silently counts the seconds.

In a breath's moment, the scheme is set in motion. Marius manages to change the headband for the rope with a quick coup-de-main. Morgrym's compliance seems to be enough to keep the gang at bay for now.

As tensions lower, the dwarves become distracted. The old man seems to be the sole exception, still shivering in concern. The sudden peace is broken as Hagadark throws his concoction, spreading a cloud that engulfs the enemies in an instant! The rogues immediately fall prey to the explosion, stunned by the mixture prepared by the alchemist. Only the old man remains, crying out imprecations of all sorts against the still unseen heroes!

[Sorry it took me so long, guys. Opening week, and I had to lecture two groups. Coming back to normal from now on!]

Round 1

As soon as Marius had the headband and Hagadark had thrown his little bomb, Morgrym yelled, “Ever’one intae th’elevator! Back up!” He hoped if they took the elevator, they could trap these dwarves down here and rescue the girls in the Long Rest. They could always return below to deal with these bozos.

After yelling, Morgrym finished his spell. But instead of a constrictor snake he’d intended, he sent a large aurochs charging down the corridor at the stunned dwarves, straight toward the old man, trampling over anyone in its path.

Then he ran for the elevator himself.

OOC:
Dwarven mine - probably has more then one exit. And they have on way to communicate with the surface. Let's deal with them now and we can save the girls later. If we let them go, who's to say they will not return and terrorize some other helpless refugees. Also, old alchemist/mage/thing needs proper dying and burial and not a chance to get new body.

[Ok, I'll wait for the group's decision on this one, as well as MetaVoid's and Shayuri's actions - one extra each still left!]
Neurotic MetaVoid Shayuri KahlessNestor

Hagadark grins as his scheme succeeds. Slight burn on his fingers is no price for the effect.
"Lets just hope that Marius got the real item for communications." he thinks as he lobs another bomb into the mess. He is careful not to hit the herd, last thing they need is wild cows trampling them.

"Mourgrym, wait! We already started this, the girls will keep for several heartbeats more and you'll protect them and others from future depredations of this creep. Look at his face, trying to call for help."

[sblock=Actions]
Attack: throw the bomb at the old...thing
Cold bombs touch attack; cold damage; 10 damage in splash area: 1D20+8 = [4]+8 = 12; 3D6+7 = [1, 6, 5]+7 = 19 <-- if hit, Fort DC 16 or staggered
Any other dwarves or other non-allied creatures are hit with 10 cold damage

OOC: really low roll :( let's hope it is as old and dexterous as it appears :)

(OOC - Back at last! I apologize for density, but having read back a little I'm confused as to Shayuri's part in this plan. Is she going up to secure the girls, staying here to be with y'all, or joining the murderthon? I'm good for anything, but I want to make sure I comprehend the situation before I ruin everything. :))

OOC: As is becoming norm for this group, the plan is whatever you want it to be. MetaVoid suggestion was that Shayuri protects the girls. But he didn't wait before attacking. And I hopefully cut their communication.

So. Shoot away, watch the cows. Or run back up and save the girls.

[This might go reeeeally sour.... :p]

EVERYONE

Hagadark's second charge gets everyone, even the old man! The shriveled creature tried to run away, but his impaired movement allowed him for nearly no distance before the second bomb hit the area. The enemies shiver and moan, confused by the indistinct effects that fall upon them! They are unable to react, even with smaller gestures.

[Unfortunate rolls for them! You can rush them if you so choose - they're all vulnerable, given the effects placed upon them, having only meager armor as protection. Six dwarves - two by the side of the old man - and the creeper himself. The way's open to return as well, as no alarm seems in place and no commotion reaches the heroes. Nice plan! Now, you can give me your actions, free of initiative, considering the vulnerable situation they find themselves into.]

[Also, thanks for the patience. Granny's surgery got pulled back to last Friday and I had to tend to the details. But we're back to normal, now!]
