On the one hand I would like to have less streaming services. On the other hand I don't want media monopolies. Ugh
I like what Amazon has done. You still have to pay for each service but they're all in one place. I watch Paramount and Apple TV through Amazon prime video. You can even sign up for PBS streaming through them.

Works for some services (I too subscribe to Paramount+ through Prime when they have new Star Trek on), but not for others. I tried subscribing to Crunchyroll through them, and the things they do to subtitles (on shows that are perfectly well subbed on Crunchyroll directly mind you) are just abominable.

That's strange. Would that be the case with anything with subtitles or just Crunchyroll? I don't watch a lot of stuff with subtitles to have noticed.

I only have three services, HBO/Netflix/Prime. So, this would bring me back to two? Im just glad Paramount is out (for now) for reasons...

Me neither. The anime shows that are on Amazon natively seem to be at least competently titled. On the other hand they've faced recent controversy for trying to add AI dubbing to a couple of shows.

I haven't watched any anime on Prime in over six months, but it still defaults me to Japanese audio at least half the time when I watch movies or series on there.
