Off to War - Duet (Jareth)

Jareth and the others watch th cave entrance well hidin behind the rocks. They hear a horn echo through the ravine and watch as bow armed Treylor exit the cave and take up postions to stop the armies advance.

All four warriors look to the fur clad man. "I'll take care of that when after we get a little closer." he says to their looks, Jareth not understanding but figures it has nothing to do with him.

The Treylor start firing and everyone waits for the leader to give the word.

"Advance."

Jareth matches pace with the others, white-knuckling the pike he holds. His breath catches in his throat as his mind catches up with the situation. Assaulting a foe in a fortified, or at least protected, place. They've got numbers, terrain, and hostages. We've got some magic. Still, we've got surprise. And ferocity. In the recesses of his mind, his mental voice almost sounds cold and methodical, void of humanity. The little portion of himself that finds it shocking is pushed aside, quarantined for the duration of this... Perhaps it will be examined later, perhaps not.

For now, the only things in his consciousness are the methodical, calculating side and the rising sense of justified retribution.

The group of men spread out from their spear point postion and start targeting Treylor seperately. The fur clad man starts towards the cave entrance pulling a slim wand from the folds of his coat.

Jareth rushes forward with them, and watches as the bowman takes and fires in rapid succession. The half-giant with the club roars a challenge and jumps into the midst of a small group of Treylor.

The last two men hang back for some reason as if waiting for something.

Jareth longspear in hand looks about for a target for his dark hatred.

With calm determination, Jareth takes a few steps and wedges himself in some of the rocks. He looks out from a gap, watching the brute fight with his massive club. All brawn, no brain, it would seem. He's going to become a pincushion.

The red-haired human waits for an opening, then lashes out with his spear, trying to catch one of the Treylor as they focus on the brute.

Jareth's brings a scream from the elv's lips. He twists to see his attacker on hand coming to pull the spearhead out of his side. Jareth stares into the Treylor's eyes and sees the fear in them before the elf closes them for the last time and falls to the ground lifeless.

A large crack brings JAreth out of his slight shock. He looks up to see the huge club wielder has taken both th Treylor he was fighting out and managed to crack the stone next to them all at the same time. The two Treylor lay broken at his feet and he slams a fist to his chest and howls,

"Roo's!"

Some of the remaining Treylor fire at the man while others head towards the cave entrance. Two arrows hit the brute and he almost laughs.

"No, no!" the fur clad man says stepping up. "Figured you try that and I'm ready," he says pointing the wand above the cave entrance.

{{Fiv'a leeso}} he says and a ray of brown light shots from the wand in his hand to the rocks above the cave. Suddenly the walls start to fold in on each other as the wrap around the opening sealing it as one Treylor slips in quickly.

After that the young man and shield-bearer hop the rocks in front of them and join the fight. The bowman takes down one of the Treylor with two quick arrows to the chest.

Jareth's only response to the fear of the dying Treylor is a contemptuous glare as he pulls the shaft back and takes a quick glance at everything else.

As the fur-wearing man brings activates the wand, he looks on in surprise as the stone warps and twists, closing in on itself. What in the Hells is he doing? But again, his thoughts are pushed away as battle-oriented instincts come to the fore.

With a swift motion, he follows suit with the others, vaulting his concealing rocks and taking a spot behind the swordsman before jabbing at the next pointy-eared Treylor soldier.

Anyways, over the rocks (not sure if you want a Jump or Tumble check, +8 / +10 respectively) and move to L-o, then attack the Treylor soldier at M-q.
