(OOC) The Dog Days of Doom

Yeah, fight is over. The zombie has less than 5 hp and is outnumbered so I didn’t want to drag it on. I wanted one of the players to describe their victory. Literally, the first person who posts gets to do it.

Regarding the rounds and turns, maybe I’ll start doing what you do and declare the next round.

Since we were doing 1 post a day, I was just thinking that if you post that day, your turn is done but it’s happened that we have posted more than once per day so I’ll start making it more obvious.

I want to start the next part of the adventure by Sunday at latest.

Benny @Steve Gorak declared wanting to go to the market and then the beacon. Is that what everyone wants to do?

Ok, I wrapped up the combat as requested.

I’m still up for market then beacon. I think extra gear would be useful. And holy water would allow Benny to be able to cast protection against evil twice per short rest.

Yes, a bunch of the stuff that is in the kitchen is ruined. In fact there’s two bleeding corpses on the floor. Not very sanitary. You guys may want to deal with that.

Besides that, there’s those potatoes and a whole food cellar and a pantry with breads and cereals, meats, eggs and booze. There’s a huge black iron pot on the fireplace that has a stew in it but the fire went out and just coals. It’s still hot though (I had to actually think about how much time has passed and it’s only been maybe a half hour.)

I'll post this stuff IC but,

The main thoroughfare is pretty open and its still light enough that you can't really stalk in the shadows so you will likely draw attention from enemies. But it's open and you're probably faster than most zombies so, if things get hairy, you could run away.

You can wind your way along side streets and will be less likely to get seen by a mass mob but you could find yourself in a dead end or lost. It's not a big city but the streets are old and weirdly disorganized. The buildings are packed pretty close together too, in the middle.

I want to do a quick extended test where everyone picks a skill to roll and we will look at the results but I need to know your approach.

ASAIK, you want:

• 25gp worth of Holy water - for spell components (or silver filings?)
• shield, weapons, armour and stuff
• potions
• Holy symbol of @FitzTheRuke who is your god?

Anything else?
