OOC: It'll be initiative when I get home this evening and can look at Surana's inventory and such.

Seeing how I'm in a different time zone (Europe) and won't be posting for several hours due to being asleep, here's my initiative: [roll0]

Since I "take 10" for monster init they will have a 12. 14 will beat it. Feel free to say what you plan on doing if you'd like. Or you can wait and see what init rolls of the others are or hear what they plan on doing. No rush.

Damn, this is going to suck. I am using all my good rolls! :p Combat is going to be brutal!

If it is a religion roll I get +2, otherwise my Intelligence check is as rolled.

I wonder if curing disease from my Lay on Hands would work? ;)

Here's mine, if it makes any difference, JustinCase.

[roll0]

ETA: BOOM. I was going to wait and see if I had my hunting trap to drop outside their burrow, but we've drawn their attention so I'm not sure what I'll do now.

Looks like you all beat them on Init. Bertram (also taking 10) gets a 13.

I'll have to look at Da Rules regarding LoH and Lycanthropy. I wont be home until late this evening.

I'm not sure what we can do to not hurt them, while not being hurt ourselves. Running away seems like a bad idea ("let's run away from those angry looking doggies who love chasing prey!") but so is attacking them. Any ideas on knocking them out or grappling them? I don't suppose Erevan will shine in that area, frail elf that he is...

For now, I'm going to bed and see what you guys responded tomorrow.

You can always make non lethal attacks to try to knock them out.

Of course you dont have to outrun the wererats....you just have to outrun the halfling.

Are we going to have the option to try this each round? I know the PHB says that you can decide whether you actually want to kill or just KO when you deal what would be the killing melee blow. Can't remember if there is anything about regular mid-fight attacks, but that would be great.

Also (crass question of the day!) would I still get my +1 to AC for dual-wielding those silver goblets Erevan picked up at Ilvana's? I don't have a silvered weapon... I can't believe this game has already come to double-fisting goblets to beat the hell out of some little gnomes, but here we are. Things have deteriorated. :|
