I *hate* to metagame, but it would be nice if we used that teleporter or did *something* to help relieve some of the pressure on the other party... comments/suggestions?

I was hoping they would soften up the bad guys for us and then we could swoop in and not have to share loot and accolades.

Well... let's look at this from a non-metagaming way, things the River Gang knows:

1: We know the other group was in trouble, they needed reinforcements
2: We haven't put any pressure on the foe lately - I mean we've been doing stuff, but it's been on the side
2b: Maybe that tunnel will lead to the enemy and that would count mind you
3: Imani hasn't responded lately. No news is... a bit concerning.

So yeah... once we take a peek at that tunnel...

It's not much of metagaming. You've been in contact a little, and know that they have found an idol but are in the middle of the Temple, with some trouble, IIRC. Sesto told you some stuff. It's always been a good idea to hit the cult from multiple sides. Give it a try, if you like. Who knows where it goes?

Is he going back up to where everyone else is and blocking the store-room off, or making it so that no-one else can get into the store-room and blocking the Prison, or what? If he's covering the store-room stairs, he can do that pretty effectively, but I thought people might want to escape through the grate. I don't really know where anyone wants to go (I doubt there's a consensus).
