D&D 5E (OOC) Vault of the Dracolich 5E (Full)

I tried to make it work...

SO.

We should be wrapping this fight up soon, and I think it's time to discuss what's next. We'll have everyone together and only (really) one way to go. I think what I'd like is for some of the more beat-up characters to start a rest while the others go get the last Idol. (The only trouble with that idea is that some people who are only playing one character are pretty beat-up.)

And if tglassy wants to have a little catch-up break, we can leave all the genasi's guarding the alchemist until the others get back with the idol. (Alternately ONE of them could go with the goup.)

There's no way to get a long rest before the end (it's only been about 2 hours since the LAST long rest) so we're gonna have to figure out what to do about that. One of the things I've been thinking of doing is levelling you all up one more time (to 7) but with only a short rest. (Even that's a little problematic, as there always was supposed to be a time constraint on the adventure, which I've played fast-and-loose with as it is.)

Imani can probably teleport some healing potions in, too.

Zander still has 4 out of 5 HD so he should be good to go, but I would only count him as cannon fodder (poor, poor Zander - lol). He doesn't have any of his abilities but I don't think he will need them, you only get them once and as I have showed they may not pay off anyway.

I vote for at least a short rest while the two parties discuss options get healing potions teleported in.

SnorLoska will be ok with a short rest. He has 4HD left, which maybe isn't that great if he rolls poorly. One rage left, which might be enough if it is only one more fight. He also got one Relentless Endurance left (Thanks, Lorenn!).

Sesto won't be much good without a long rest. He is out of all spells and will only gain another couple of Channel Divinity from a short rest. Still, he can swing his mace and send some sacred flame on enemies but that is it. He won't be a force to reckon with.

Still, if we are many PCs that will fight the BBEG then it might be ok even if we are low on all super powers.

I might need to go back and check, but I think I have most of my HD. And I’ve been so sparing on power points that all four Genasi should have well over half, some much more. They’re preparing to go all out on the Dracolich.

Level 7 is a biggie. They’ll each get 6 more psi points, as well as an extra Discipline, and be able to spend 6 points on a single ability, which will increase the potency of each ability and add new ones. I am highly in favor of this.

I should be able to keep up. I can send one Genasi to get the final idol.

Udit has lost almost half his HP, but he has all his hit dice left so a short rest would result in him being back on his feet. Level 7 would increase his "potency" by strengthening his sneak attacks. Evasion wouldn't hurt vs dragon breath either.

Important question: does the alchemist happen to have a stock of healing potions?

No problem, let’s go and get idol without rest. Rest is for whips, as SnorLoska would have said.

I missed the potions too.
