Resource Management is the hardest part of this Adventure. I will say, that if you can deal with the cultists and mercenaries that are currently working up to a hammer-and-anvil on the Dispensables, I can't see what can stop you from having a long rest. It would probably be a good idea to get the River Gang to hurry back to the temple and hit the Cult from the other side... (I'm a way-too helpful DM, but I always prefer players to have fun than for me to crush them, even if I promised this adventure to be tough, and you've done really really well so far...)
