End of Round 1, start of Round 2

Kago stood up and pushed forward, as did Solace, only she fired at His Highness, too. The bolt struck true, wounding Derendil for 13 points of damage. His Highness howled in pain and surged forward to strike at Brinn, but winced sharply when he trod on the caltrops laid by Kamael and suffered 1 point of damage. The caltrops stopped Derendil in his tracks; he could go no further. Kamael moved forward a little bit and addressed Derendil who responded by looking up in confusion and pain, growling in anger. Rage glinted darkly in the quaggoth's eyes.

Jimjar, Turvey, and Stool shrank backward further down the east in the tunnel. Shuushar, however, took a few cautious steps forward toward the fracas, but otherwise said or did nothing.

OOC: A character could, if they so wished, make an Insight DC 12 check as their action to try to determine His Highness's intent. Solace will fire a handcrossbow rather than cast light. I will update the map to reflect the change in light and everyone's new position when I get home. Although there is no light from Solace, Buppido's body is still glowing with faerie fire and therefore gives provides dim illumination for a ten foot radius. Derendil is in T6. He's stepped on the caltrops, which caused him one point of dmg, and his speed is now reduced by 10 feet.

Round 2

Brinn launched himself at Derendil, landing first a kick to the side then a punch, for 8 points of damage. Though Brinn's second punch missed, the power behind his first punch served to very briefly stun the quaggoth; Derendil didn't react as Brinn briskly retreated to allow others a chance at an attack. When Brinn returned to the middle of the passageway, Raza further shrank against the wall. Her druidic flame burned brightly in her palm.


OOC: KS will more than likely be along sometime Thursday to post for Solace.

Solace looks at Kamae, surprised at the tone he had chosen to use in offering to negotiate. Was he trying to provoke the Quaggoth? In any case the words seemed to have the opposite effect of their plain meaning. Solace fired again, taking advantage of the placement of her allies in the narrow corridor.

She is tired, and frustrated that her sleep has been interrupted.

OOC: To Hit: [roll0]. If a hit, damage equals [roll1] piercing (including SA). If someone is moving to get past her she presses herself against the wall to let them by.
 

Solace's bolt struck true, dealing 17 points of damage. His Highness began to look shaky.
