Ow, My Rib: The Revenge of a Stupid Rabbit...

Pbartender

First Post
It's been about two and a half weeks since I ran over a stupid rabbit with my bicycle.

About three or four days after, one of my ribs started aching intermittently right near my sternum. It does, on occasion, usually after a sneeze or if I move in just the wrong way. I'm beginning to think I cracked a rib during that crash. I'm reluctant to to see my doctor... He'll just take x-rays For confirmation, and then tell me there's nothing to be done about it except take pain killers when needed.

Oh well.

*SIGH*... ouch.

Stupid rabbit.

As amazing as medical technology is, there are some things doctor's can do nothing about. A cracked rib is one of 'em.

Through some cruel twist of fate, the very first night in our new house, I went down stairs in the dark, and slipped on the last step of the first landing, and broke my second toe. Well, I'm fairly certain I broke it. I continued to make my way downstairs, painful as it was, verified there wasn't anything going on (I had heard a weird noise, and thought something was turned on), and headed back upstairs, where I had a brief moment of shock lying in bed.

My wife decided I need to go to the hospital. "Why?", I asked, "so the doctor can say, 'Yep, you broke your toe alright!' " :)
