On that note, Snare is finally pickable, now that Rangers have more spell slots.A biggest issue IMO. Is the lack of a Trapper subclass.
It's still not great, but...

Bad faith argument.yes, no concentration HM broke the game completely,
we should call Conjure minor elementals twilight cleric or shield spell. someone is taking the throne here.
Figure it out yourself.how a longer long rest solves anything?
8hrs or 8 months is completely the same.
it's about how you spend resources between the Long rest.
On a dual wielder, hunter's mark does good damage. At level 5 potentially +4d6 per turn. And it is worth noting, that aftet 3 atacks, the ranger can still use ensnaring strike and drop concentration on HM.It's the same as before, except Hail of Thorns, Lightning Arrow, Swift Quiver lost concentration requirement, because screw melee rangers I guess.
I'm showing swift quiver still requires concentration in my digital copy. Do we know if that's a bug? It's the same as before, except Hail of Thorns, Lightning Arrow, Swift Quiver lost concentration requirement, because screw melee rangers I guess.
No. Sadly not. But at least you can now cast swift quiver and immediately use it. And combined with conjure barrage on the following turns it might actually be a bit useful.I'm showing swift quiver still requires concentration in my digital copy. Do we know if that's a bug?

Ah sorry, I did mean Magic Weapon, sorry. I forgot about it existing because its window of relevance is so tiny (if you don't have a magical weapon at lv5, you will shortly after), and was just continuing along the ranged favoritism trajectory of Hail of Thorns and Lightning Arrow.I'm showing swift quiver still requires concentration in my digital copy. You forgot a few good ones:Looking at the Ranger's list for spells without concentration there are:
Cure Wounds
Goodberry
Hail of thorns
Jump
Longstrider
Aid
Lesser Restoration
Magic Weapn
Protection vs. Poison
Conjure Barrage
Daylight
Dispel Magic
Lightning Arrow
Plant Growth
Revivify
Freedom of Movement
Conjure Volley
Steel Wind Strike
There are a lot of good non-concentration spells on this list for whatever that's worth.
