"intimidation with charisma doesn't really intimidate me at all, it's just a load of hot air and posturing.
Exactly, this is what intimidation is.

Torture doesn't work. Except in US TV shows.
When you fail it usually is!Heh. A Strength (Intimidation) check is just... rolling initiative.
That depends. If you are grabbing a warrior or someone who can and will defend himself against armed adventurers, yes we're going to initiative. If on the other hand you're grabbing some pipsqueak courier of the king's to intimidate him into telling you were he is going, just roll the intimidation check as you toss him against the wall. He's not going to try and fight one PC, let alone a group.as it should be, throwing someone against the wall is no intimidating someone of what can you do to them, but displaying what you can do to them. It's a direct attack.
We've known how cunning strike would work in a campaign since 3.x when there was a way to get similar at will abilities for a similarly small and insignificant drop in damage output. annoyingly for everyone else at the tableAnyone get actual play with the new rogue?
Curious how cunning strike is working.
Does it count if the Rogue player saw what everyone else got and just switched their class levels to Fighter with a Rogue dip?Anyone get actual play with the new rogue?

I've proven that to be objectively wrong. 5e RAW states that dex = agility. You can argue that in the real world strength = agility(it doesn't), but you can't argue that in 5e that's the way the strength ability works. It objectively does not work that way.The D&D 5e Strength ability handles two conflictive concepts: agility and weightlifting.
