Harrison is never one to stand still when innocents are threatened. He moves to challenge it and introduce it to his sword, which he does with an impressive blow.
Jillian shreeks and runs back to allow the fighters a chance at the big thing.
"Eeeeeeeek!!!" She arrives next to Grackle and looks at the gnome with wide eyes.
Ballista steps up behind Grackle and unleashes a blistering barrage of 5ft long ballista bolts toward the creature. The first arrow finds its mark, but the next 2 sink solidly into the top of the door frame she is shooting through.
The 4 armed gargoyle charges forward head lowered to
Gore (1d20+24=39) Harrison with its
horns (2d6+5=17).
Grackle's slow to realize what's going on afterward until Jillan runs screaming back towards him. After a few moments of confused surprise, Grackle gibbers in worry and cringes, hoping the flying beastie leaves him alone. He stuffs the Admiral back into the relative safety of his magical backpack.
With a glance toward heaven and a brief pray Logan seeks divine favor in the coming battle.
Garagos acts a bit to slow to be any big help in the first few combat seconds. He raises his shield and steps forward to protect those behind.
Zorn starts trying to line up a shot. Zorn carefully aims around Garagoes and launches an orb of freezing cold energy at the gargoyle, striking it easily. The skin of the creature turns a sickly blue-black frostbitten shade at the point of impact.
OOC: Please give
Zorn and Garagoes a chance to revise before posting for round 2.
