Well just one at the moment. "My Sweet 16" on MTV basically a show about spoiled rich girls that throw these ridiculous parties and wine about the most stoopid things.

But my fiancee wants to watch it. I LOATHE this show.

Almost all reality TV is to be laothed. Whatever merit Survivor may of had has been lost in sequals and among the piles of racid crap that has flooded the airwaves since. My wife like the Amazing Race and I tried to watch it and all it is, is 60 minutes of people b tching at each other and yelling at cab drivers to go faster. I wish they rewarded each contestant with a shotgun blast.

While TV in general has been lacking any entertainment value recently, there are some good shows out there.

Other one to Loathe: The Simple Life

And as a helpful hint normally when my husband watches his shows or I am watching one of mine the other basically gets free time to do that which the other would hate.

I will give a big congrats to MTV who actually had the first reality show- Real World (1992) and Road Rules. Both long before Survivor.

Cops was there long before any of them and is still on the air and most likely will be long after those three a but a memory.

I feel your pain about reality TV. I can barely stand to be in the same room when something like American Idol is on. I usually use those times that my wife is watching bad TV to sneak to the basement and either work on a campaign, or vegetate in front of the XBOX.

P.S. Laurel, I thought that COPS was the "original" reality show.
