Smallville 2/2/05 (Spoilers)

Was it just me, or did the combination of music, acting, and dialog make that one of the lamest death scenes ever?! Soooooo disappointing!
No, it's not just you. It sucked.

Though, contrary to almost everyone here, I thought these last two Alisha episodes were terrible. I found Alisha to be annoying, untrustworthy, and troublesome.

IMO, Martha and Johnathon are either huge hypocrits or their entire objection to Alicia was a poorly written plot device.
Absolutely, wholeheartedly, agreed. I know which way I'm leaning.

I haven't seen either episode. Smallville has always been Soap-Operatic, and this season so disappointingly so, that I finally switched over to Lost. Not sure if I'll ever come back...

Well I loved the episode, and the last one. I think it shows great conflict within Clark. I easily could have destroyed Tim, even in his most ragefull hour did he not. Maybe because Lois was there maybe not. He was the most hurt he had ever been, besides maybe when he had learned that he had caused the death of his parents baby. But this was outward anger that demanded action, even violence. I did not find the any of the dialouge lame, and I have sat through quite a few soaps to understand that this is head and shoulders above any Days of Our Lives.

Perhaps Alicia couldn't concentrate enough, I mean when she teleports she plans on it. Clark reacts. Now it was her turn to react. But the bracelet would have been a nice touch.

I think in some small way the Kents are corrupting their son. I think Martia never apologized because she was relieved. It will be interesting to see what it is like when Clark goes away for College and out from underneath them.

However I think they have done a good job of challenging Clark without using the meteor rock around every corner so far this season.

The Seraph of Earth and Stone

And as for those who have chosen lost, I can't blame you it's a great show. Sucks that we have to choose.

No choice on my part. I tape one and watch the other, then I watch what I taped after and the last two weeks have been reruns for Lost.

Yeah, but I was watching Smallville, so I never saw the "re-runs", the first time around! Smallville is kinda irking me, as I originally gave up Star Trek: Enterprise to watch it, and it has been disappointing. Then I missed Lost for more disappointing episodes. Now I am watching the "re-runs", and Smallville starts up with the new episodes!

Man! I caint win fer losin'! :p

I have no choice. Dual-tuner TiVo.

Before that, one TiVo + Bit Torrent.

I did not want to see Alicia die. The ep overall was pretty good but not as good as last week's. I really enjoyed her character and think alot more could and should have been done with her. The plot did have a few glaring holes but those I didn't have a problem with. The death scene wasn't bad but I thought she deserved a better death than that especially after taking a bullet for Clark the week before.

*sigh*
