Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season 3 Viewing (Spoilers)

Oh I’d forgotten about the puppets.

With two left I had predicted an Ortega-heavy drama followed by an action cliffhanger finale.

With the puppet episode still to come though, that prediction isn’t correct. I guess that must be next week as they wouldn’t end the season on puppets.
Sorry for the confusion. The next musical episode and the puppet one are both in production for season 4.

Whatever happened with that Sybok tease in season 1? And Captain Angel is still out there somewhere.
I guess maybe it was just an Easter egg sort of thing? Or a plot thread they decided not to continue with?

The vezda is still lurking in the Enterprise computer too ... I wonder when it's going to rear its ugly head again! (The finale maybe?)

Yes I expect the Vezda to play into the finale.

... Vulcan hijinks are a tricky thing to manage, and SNW has gone to this well several times.

This episode in particular. I get why it'd be divisive. I laughed a lot, but also cringed a lot.

... is this the first episode to have a post credit sequence? That was pure gold.

Ok, wow. So much crazy in this episode. Like, just getting Vulcan physiology shouldn't suddenly switch your personality like that. Vulcans are not innately logical creatures, in fact, quite the opposite, feeling emotions more keenly than humans. Suppression of emotions, pure logic, and being massive jerks is trained behavior!

Now that all being said...I laughed so hard during this episode! It was highly entertaining, and the bit about "Romulans. Let us never speak of this again" may be my favorite.

Or maybe it's "What the hell did you do to my brother?". LOL.

Poor Spock though. He joined Starfleet to get away from this exact situation, and now it's been thrust into his face like a plate of live gagh. I think it's easy to forget that even when Spock is being insufferably Vulcan, he's actually trying hard not to be, and that real Vulcans can be oh, so much worse!

Yeah, the episode was certainly funny, but it didn't make a lot of sense. Like I said above, I feel the show is leaning too hard into these "gimmick" concepts.
