It does, however, reinforce my opinion that most full-blooded Vulcans are jerks.Agreed. My niece didn't like that aspect of that clip either. Hopefully they apologize to him afterwards or something.

It's that plus the fact that they were forced into a dormant phase. They're no longer the looming threat that dominated her life, so she's been able to relax and contemplate other things. That’s another thing — this episode supposedly has enabled La’an to overcome her trauma but it didn’t really show that. She kept having flashbacks, yes, and then Dr M’Benga advised her that she’s not in the past but in the present. Then she killed one Gorn at point-blank range. Was that really enough for her to get over her childhood trauma? It felt too easy / rushed like everything else in this episode.
Seems like it's that way for practically all streaming services these days. The concept of subscriptions alone supporting content seems to be long-dead, especially with so many services in the market these days. Also jeez when did those ads on Paramount+ start? It’s like 3 mins of ads every 5 minutes. It totally destroys the flow of the episode.
This is my first encounter. It took me by surprise. I"m subscribed to all of the streamers (the international ones available here in the UK, obvs, I don't know your local ones) and I've not seen ads on Netflix, Apple+, Disney+, etc. Maaaybe some on Prime? But not like this.Seems like it's that way for practically all streaming services these days. Netflix went to a two-tier system some time ago in the UK. If you haven't seen ads with them, either you're on the higher tier or yo've been lucky - they do seem a bit flaky, at least on their Android app. Sometimes I'll get an ad break, sometimes the episode will just skip forward 10 seconds. This is my first encounter. Mine is just part of my SkyQ account.Netflix went to a two-tier system some time ago in the UK. Disney+ also has a two-tier system but the only ads I’ve seen have been at the start of a show/movie and they’ve all just been for other Disney+ content. Nothing random like on network TV and nothing in the middle of a show or movie.Netflix went to a two-tier system some time ago in the UK. I'm subscribed to Paramount+ through Prime at the lower tier, and while I definitely did get ads during the episodes, they were on the order of two adverts lasting 30-60 seconds between them per break, which sounds less onerous than what you described.
