One of my complaints with some modern Trek starship battles is that they sometimes overdo it and fill the screen with too much stuff. Discovery S2 finale vs. Control, or this battle with the Gorn fighters, there's just too much going on. Compare that to the duel with the Shepherds in "Children of the Comet", which was well choreographed and understandable.
Anyway, still liked Hegemony's character work.
It's interesting seeing both T'Pring and Korby get a character reevaluation in SNW. Like, I like this Korby. Sure, a cute Irishman will do that, but the character worked for me. And the indignity of being turned into an English Bulldog. I also was so amused by how much Trelane was messing with him.
