Spoilers Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season 3 Viewing (Spoilers)

I mean, sure, you don't hare John Delancie if you don't want the fans to think it, but actor choice isn't in-canon evidence.
Well unless we want to get back to the style of writing where every little thing has to be explained to the audience in excruciating detail for it to be "real" and we cannot trust audiences to pick up on anything....I think we take this at face value.

As you said, you don't bring in John Delancie if you don't want your audience thinking Q. So the audience....is going to think Q. Ergo....its Q until proven otherwise (which at this point would be dirty pool by the writers imo).

No, I don't think the finger-snap thing counts, as I am pretty sure that habit was established in "Squire of Gothos".
OK. I haven’t seen that OG episode.

Ep 3 was great! I kinda suspected plant zombies when M’benga wasn’t picking up any life signs.

I liked the tension between #1 and Ortegas this episode.

I’m worried about Batel. I have the feeling she’s going to turn into a monster and have to be “put down” or something. More fuel on the fire of Pike’s unhappy ending.

Also, would anyone else like it if the show named Strange New Worlds actually visited strange new worlds? It feels like they mostly just hang around in Federation space or places just across the border. They have yet to really “go where no one has gone before.”
Most of Star Trek was always like that.

The most obvious clue to Trelane being a Q for me was the finger-snapping. That’s such a classic Q move.

In the 2+ seasons we've gotten so far, the Enterprise crew has certainly visited many different worlds, and many of those were certainly strange. IMO, at least.

Sometimes no, sometimes yes. Did you run out of things to get upset about? Seems a nit to pick that Pike and crew aren't exploring entirely unknown regions and phenomenon every week.
I’m not upset about it. It was just a random observation. But hey, I’m a detailed-oriented person, so I pick a lot of nits. 🤷🏻‍♂️
