"Oops, uh, I mean, what were you asking? The thought of treasures just got me a little excited!" Serin puts his weapon away, blushing a little out of embarresment for his immature actions. "I'm going to fight for this town, to make a name for myself, to try and earn some respect. To take out some evil and take in some treasures. Olster here has asked for some help, and I see the potential rewards." He looks over the others as if sizing them up for the first time. "Besides, it looks like I may have some tricks up my sleeve that will come in handy with the likes of of you all!" Serin lets out a joking laugh for the first time since coming to Hommlet.

So, Nairb wants to prove his worth to his father, which is as good a motivation as any. With a motivation like that, he's not likely to abandon his task or his teammates too easily.

Serin is in it for the treasure. Could be likely to flee at the first sign of trouble.

Jayla takes a combative stance with her potential teammates. That can't be a good sign.

Yun and Erik haven't said anything yet. I wonder why they are here.

My father is Shoon, he had never spoken of this before. I am here because I recieved this letter, and it seemed to be urgent, and that made me think that there would be some challenge awaiting me here. It seems as though I was right."
