A lot of people say "I all kinds of music." That's not what this poll is about. Let's say you're tuning through the radio and you come across a song that fits a certain genre of music, as listed above. Are the odds good that you'll probably like it? Are the odds good that you'll listen to more than 10 seconds of the song before you turn the station? Also, do you have more than one CD that fits a certain genre that you've listened to more than once? If so, that's a genre of music you'll probably like.

For example, I tune in and hear a pop song. I listen for a few seconds and decide "Sounds like all the rest" and turn the dial. So, obviously, Pop will not be one of my choices.

I got the list of genres off of this site, so I'm being as inclusive as possible.

BTW, my choices are 20th-Century, Barbershop (I'm a sucker for harmony), Baroque, Bluegrass, Blues, Choral, Country, Jazz, Opera, Music Theatre, Orhchestral, Rap, Hip-hop, Ska, and Rock.

Oh and I should've picked Band because I just realized that's where Big Band and Swing would be. :(

What exactly is "Women's" ? Do you mean just artists that more women than men like (Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, etc) or do you mean "soft rock", or what?

I usually listen to classic rock, 80's pop, 90's country, grundge rock, alternative, metal, blues, a little jazz, and ska. My favorites would include: Garth Brooks, Huey Lewis and the News, Pat Benatar, Heart, Everclear, Nickelback, Brooks & Dunn, Bruce Springsteen, CCR, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Metallica. Sometimes I think I have musical multiple personality syndrome!!! :)
