This weeks episode was really great. Second showing of it is about to start right now in the states...

I've got the TiVo set up to catch them all.

The only one so far has been the Monarch's 'trial' right? I loved the episode, but I got into Venture Brothers late (middle of season two) so I still occasionally get older episodes mixed into the current seasons. :)

I do believe the adult swim website has a LOT of the episodes available for free viewing.

This week’s episode "The Doctor is Sin" directly addresses how Thaddeus Venture has behaved since the beginning of the series, so it is beneficial to take a good look at previous episodes before viewing.

Also sheds a bit of light why the
Oni and Killinger
would want to see Dr. Venture and
Myra
reunited.

Thanks for letting me know it's back on the air. The guys behind this show have a lot of talent and a very unique approach to plot and dialogue. They deserve some real breakout success in movies or TV.

Loved both episodes of the season so far, one of my very favorite shows!

Frank, I didn't catch the light shed on why those two would want the reunion... what are you suggesting?

Thaddeus's moral compass is very lacking, but most of his family and associates are pretty much good guys or at least more moral than Dr. Venture. Brock, the boys, Dr. Orpheus, Quizboy Billy and the Albino all are positive influences on Thaddeus. My thought was having a Deranged influence like
Myra
could have made Thaddeus Venture more receptive to becoming a
supervillian
.

Ah, interesting. That does suppose, though, that Killinger's goal was to push him in that direction. I think there's a strong argument that instead his goal was for things to turn out precises as they did, with the intent of pushing him the other way.

Just finished watching the newest episode, "The Invisible Hand of Fate", on adultswim.com.

Talk about filling in the background history!! The real story behind Billy's cyber hand and eye patch. How Brock ended up with bodyguarding Dr. Venture. The truth behind Phantom Limb's accident. Plus, more Hunter Gather!

It's an overload of personal details.

I was able to watch the premiere but have been trying to get to bed earlier since then. Sounds like I need to stay up and suck it up at work the next day.
