[WoT Adventure] Turn 3

[ooc: hehe...guess that's one way to deal with the slow poster...have all the good stuff happen when his character isn't there. ;) Just kidding of course...]

If it isn't one thing... Sirsei sighs and embraces the Source. She looks at Shalimar, "I don't remember life being this complicated when I was with my mother. I suppose she must have taken care of things." Like always. She's such a domineering woman. I still miss her though.

She looks around as well, then starts after Jain and Yuri, walking at a normal pace, "I don't see any reason for us to just wait here. We might as well follow them. It's probably better if we keep a little more distance so we don't interrupting their games. Hide and seek always bored me, but some people never grow out of it."

Pedron makes a quick judgement call as to whether the alley of sudden interest to his one-time comrades should connect to a nearby street. (Spot check?) Then he looks around to see if he can find a likely route that will take him to the other end of the alley. If so, he heads there at a run, slowing down as he nears the entrance of the alley. If the alley looks like it dead ends instead, he'll go up and ask the women what's going on.

Looks like a dead end, Pedron.

Ashrem never let his eyes loose track of the man, as they moved through the crowd to the alleyway. But in the clear alleyway, the man is moving faster than you can move through the crowd, and he eventually gets too far away to see.

Since the alleyway looks like a dead end, Pedron simply follows the others. Whatever's in there isn't getting away. When he gets close enough, he asks the two Accepted, "What's going on? What's in there?" Meanwhile, he draws a knife with his left hand, keeping it hidden in his cloak, as he peers into the shadowed alley.

"I agree, lets let the children play, once they are done they should be back to their usual selves. "

when Pedron rejoins them and asks his question, she answers, "Well, Yuri, Ashrem, and Jain are amusing themselves buy playing hide and go seek. I do believe that they are trying to follow someone, though its just as likely a Goodwife as a skulker." she says with a trace of amusement in her voice.

She shakes her head at the foolishness of it all, and follows the boys without even trying to be sneaky. She watches for anything out of the unusual, but does not try to sneak.
Sneak? in a dress?

"Hide and seek, huh?" Pedron says. "I was always pretty good at that, perhaps too good for these amateurs. Maybe I'll just stay with you." And watch for an ambush. This alley would make a great place for one. Pedron tries to peer ahead and look over his shoulder at the same time, which isn't easy considering his two eyes aren't positioned for that. Once fully into the alley, he puts away his dagger and unlimbers his bow. He doesn't nock an arrow quite yet. Maybe this time he'll get a nice, clear shot from a distance.

"Put that away." she says indicating the bow, When the watch comes because the boys are stalking an innocent old woman hey wont be best pleased to find you with a weapon at the ready. I dare say that you won have a fun time explaining yourself to them."

Again she shakes her head at the foolishness of men.

They are liable to get us in trouble if they keep on like this. Acting without thinking of the consequences shame on them. I will give them a talking to after we get back to the Inn tonight. We probably wont see each other after but its my duty to see they don't get themselves in trouble before another woman takes them under her wing.

Feeling a tad foolish for letting the boys play around for so long, she quickly catches up with them, their trying to move silently hindering their movement.

Sirsei stops suddenly. "Hold on a moment, I want to try something, just in case. I'll feel better knowing there aren't any shadowspawn around. One group is enough for me."

She weaves the flows together, trying to detect any shadowspawn to the range of her ability to do so.

Sirsei doesn't sense any Shadowspawn.

OOC: And since it looks like Shalimar knows Sense Shadowspawn already, I don't have to bother with weavesight checks...
