[WoT Adventure] Turn 3

Jain Hadlin, Missunderstood, again

"Thats not what i ment, I was suggesting we check if the doors are locked nothing more! That person was fallowing us, I cuaght a glimps of him earlier!"

Jain shout this at Shalimars retreating form.

"ARRRG! Burn it all! I can't take any more of from that woman! Not every word out of my mouth is wrong, and you know it!ARRRRR! "

Jain punches the wall, hard, in frustration.

"I don't know why she gets to me like that?!"

Jain turns to Ashrem and Yuri.

"I'm really sorry gentlemen, but if i don't go back to my inn room and cool down, i might just hurt myself. Good hunting, if you continue, I for one know someone's been following us. I just can't be any help right now."

Jain puts away his daggers and heads back for the inn.

Yuri Morotakai

"I believe you, Jain. Shalimar is probably just mad that she didn't see the man; know-it-all that she tries to be. Nevertheless, I believe our chase has proven to be fruitless. I'll walk with you back to the Golden Stag."

[OOC: Just to confirm, the current situation is that we entered the alley but didn't see anyone. Jain said we should check the doors, Shalimar insulted him, and Jain went off in a huff. Yuri went with him. But to this point, no one has actually checked the doors.]

Right.

Ashrem frowned at Shalimar and and suddenly hissed , "Jain! Get back here. Are you going to let your frustration over her cloud your judgment enough to risk putting us in danger? You have more important concerns at the moment. We may need you."

With that he turned and quietly tried the door knob closest to him. Out of the corner of his eye he watched the windows for signs of movement.

[OOC: He is just trying the door. He will not open it.]

Sirsei frowns as Jain and Shalimar stalk off. She looks at Ashrem, "Just let them go. We're still here. Go ahead and open the doors. If you think you saw someone, then I believe you. I have no reason not to."

She takes a few steps forward, positioning herself so that anyone coming out will be in her line of sight so she can trip them with a flow of air if necessary.

Pedron moves closer to the doors, and hisses at Ash, "Quietly! You don't want to give away that we're here." He casts his gaze around at the others to make sure they know it applies to them too. Light, it's probably too late with all the shouting a moment ago, but a little caution can't hurt. Regardless of whether Ash finds the door locked or not, Pedron intends to stop him from opening it until he can press his ear to the door and listen for movement. Whatever he does or does not hear, he'll listen at the other door as well.

Sirsei suppresses the urge to tweak Pedron's ear with a flow of air. Just because I disagree with Shalimar doesn't mean I'm going to be bossed around. Realizing the obvious need for some stealth, she refrains from any action, for the moment, but makes a mental not to verbally abuse the stupid man for hissing at her in that way. A dark look passes over her features, but as she calms herself, it recedes, leaving what will eventually become her "Aes Sedai" look of calm.

I suppose I should agree to listen to people when they are in their element and have knowledge or experience that I don't. If I listen to Yuri in a fight, it makes sense to listen to Pedron in situations where we're skulking. He's obviously a shady character. Sort of weasely personality-wise. Oh well, can't be too picky. It isn't as if I asked for them as compatriots. But the Light-blinded fools are going to learn proper manners when addressing an Aes Sedai, even that ridiculous Tomas. I'll not call him Lord anything, ever. Refusing to be polite because I'm a 'commoner'. Tsk, tsk. Aes Sedai are above all of that and he should know better.

She frowns darkly again at the thought of Tomas.

Ashrem nodded to everyone and quietly tried the door. One hand on the door, the other gripped his sword hilt.

[OOC: Locked? Are we at the end of the alley? Any sign of recent passage?]

Watching Jain punch the wall made Shalimar wince in sympathy. Even from half an ally away she could tell that it hurt.

I was definitely too hard on him, I need to apologize to him, and to everyone else. I have been acting intolerably. Its ust that I am woried about home.

As he is going past her she calls out to Jain just loud enough for him to hear. "Jain, I am so sorry. I was worried, but thats no excuse to treat you and the others as I have. I promise, I will be better from now on." She looks down the alley again.

"Jain, I promise to believe you, if you say there is a person watching us I believe you. I shoud have believed you to start with, you are not one to make stories. I am sorry."

He has to know how hard it is for me to apologize. I have never apologized before.

She stands were she has stood the entire time, trying to will Jain to accept her apology.
