Sirsei sighs with relief, "Well, if it's an ambush in there, at least it will be of the normal, human variety. Pick pockets, thugs, mad-men."

She almost laughs, but remembers they are trying for a modicum of stealth, "Anyway. There are no shadowspawn in the area. That doesn't rule out the possibility of Darkfriends, just trollocs and their ilk."

"Pickpokets, thugs and madmen, now that is encouraging. Then again you could be describing the boys with that as well." She says with a smirk. "Its probably nothing. People are frightened of trollocs, so its natural they are jumping at shadows, what I want to know is why is an intelligent woman llike you doing the same?"

Ashrem moved down the alley, flanked by Yuri and Jain. His eyes scanned the area. "He's in here somewhere." He nodded to the dead end. "Trapped. Keep your eyes open."

He moved quietly, one hand on his sword. Where is the flaming man?

Sirsei quirks an eyebrow at Shalmiar, "I hardly expected to see trollocs at a respectable inn in Caemlyn last evening. I wouldn't expect to see them in Caemlyn in a back alley, either. If I hadn't checked, and there had been trollocs, I dare say your witty remark would have lost some of its power. I am an intelligent woman who plans on living a very long time. I don't plan to get jumped by trollocs the afternoon after I first saw one. Something about all of this is not right. I'd have been comforted to learn it was just trollocs."

Jain Hadlin

Jain continues down the ally way keeping a sharp eye out ready for trouble.

I really don't want to deal with this now! I wish i could just go back to my inn room, and hide for a while. I can't believe i told them about Cairhien, i just couldn't keep it bottled up any longer. I don't know what to do, I can't abandon caemlyn to the trollocs, if there even are more trollocs. I just don't know anything any more.

It's obvious to anyone looking that Jain is still very upset.

Yuri Morotakai

Yuri has his hand on his sword hilt and is scanning for trouble. He tries to stay first in the group, so he can face the danger first...armor is better than no armor in his mind.

OOC:

Dave,

What is in this alley? What is on each side? Windows?

If we reach the end of the alley and still havn't seen him, I'll search around for an alternate means of exit.

You're between two lower-class establishments of no particular note, both of which have side doors in the alley, and windows on the second floor.

One other thing: The red text is really hard for me to read.

Jain Hadlin

"well if we don't find him, I think we aught to see if the doors are locked. If they are we might as well head back to the inn."

Jain sounds rather half hearted about the whole thing.

"So you plan on trying to brake into peoples homes to see if a figment of your imagination came through? Shame on you, I would have expected more common sense from you Jain."

She turns and begins walking back to the entrance to the alley. Halfway there she turns agin to look at the rest of the group.

"You followed your imagination here you great wool-headed lummox men cannot just disappear into thin air, and if there was a person and they went into a door, then it was obviously somone who lived there and they definitely wouldn't want you mucking about their house."

Grow up
