Do you think Hasbro could be interested into other no-D&D RPG IPs? If they can make money with D&D, why not with others? But they have asked about Pahtfinder.
When they asked me how I felt about the future of D&D I answered Positive. Overall I think the game is moving in a good direction even if I think it might not be for me. I'm pretty sure I'm not their target demographic these days, which is fine, it's something I've come to accept for a lot of products as I've grown older.
I guess I would mean anything WotC actually publish, rather than merely allow to be published, which is to say, "stuff that appears on D&D Beyond". I guess there is technically a fairly small amount of WotC-branded 5E stuff on those platforms which is mostly updated previous edition stuff.I dunno what’s you mean here but.
If you mean the core books, well yea, but I dint think they meant that?
But wizards has stuff in DMsGuild. Official and everything.

Renegade Studio appears to be doing that, though just for the Hasbro toy lines. However, I almost wish Renegade's system was used for the next iteration of D&D.Hadnt occured to me but wheres their Modern, Alternity, Marvel or Star Wars type games they had in previous editions?
I actually picked up the GI Joe RPG but havent read it yet because we decided to play AD&D 2E for now until I get the time to give it a read through. Their systems is good? Does look like its getting much support outside of the 3 products they put out. I might check out the Power of Greyskull when its out if it isnt already.Renegade Studio appears to be doing that, though just for the Hasbro toy lines. Character creation in the game is pretty convoluted, but in play, the basic system plays out like Alternity - roll d20 plus a modifier die (from d2 to d20). If you're familiar with the proficiency die system from the DMG, it's the same sort of idea. Everything is basically a skill.I actually picked up the GI Joe RPG but havent read it yet because we decided to play AD&D 2E for now until I get the time to give it a read through. PDF is the only digital I care about.Digital DOES NOT MEAN PDF.
D&DBeyond is considered Digital.
Fantasy Grounds, Roll20, etc are all considered Digital and none of them are PDF format.
I really liked Alternity so thats good to hear. ICR if it was TSR or WotC who put it out but it was nice to see a game built on new mechanics back then. I dont recall it being that hard to learn and play. Guess that was my point up thread is that its kind of sad that WotC has chosen the D&D or bust approach when I think we know they can do better...or maybe not.Character creation in the game is pretty convoluted, but in play, the basic system plays out like Alternity - roll d20 plus a modifier die (from d2 to d20). Yep you have made that clear. Beyond has been fine however.PDF is the only digital I care about.
