I did realy enjoy the Claire and Mom scenes. Of course Lyle was clueless as usual. ;)

Indeed. I really liked her mom in this episode. A lot more conscious of the entire matter, thoughtful and creative.

Overall, I enjoyed the episode.

I think the Sylar scenes would be helped a lot of if they put more story in a single episode, even if this means we won't get to see him for a few more episodes.

Interesting to see that Sylars father apparently either had the same power Sylar stole, or the same power as Sylar and also stole the same. Maybe the reasons we see no other people with Telekinesis around is because they get killed and their powers stolen first. ;)

At first I was wondering if the writers forgot that Sylar stole that ability, else why give his father the same one. Then I remembered a) even in families chock full of supers, nobody ever seems to have the same ability and b) its possible that Sylar's choice of killing method was a subconscious aping to his father.

Also, John Glover? Really? I mean, he's a great bad guy, but he telegraphs a certain kind of persona. Couldn't they try to surprise us more? Oh wait, that's right, it's "Heroes".

One thing that people haven't mentioned is the whole Hunter/Parkman terrorist setup. I realized that this particular plot point seemed dated to me. I know we are dealing with president Worf, but the storyline is comming off as President Bush, and that is an era that I have already put behind me. I just no longer have the fear of secret government conspiracies and human rights abuses that I did just 6 months ago. I know they have a long lead time but right now this all has a feeling of the past and just doesn't jive with the way I see the world anymore.

Both good and bad things. Claire was actually semi-interesting (her Mom was great), though - of course - still incompetent. The Parkman/Peter scenes were pretty good - Heroes needs more "buddy" scenes. (I'm being serious here.)

This "hunter" guy, though, is the most silly moustache-twirling "villain" I've seen since... since... Pa Petrelli. *sob*

Sylar and wiener boy continue to suck. Hard. It looks like that little nitwit is around just so Sylar can blah blah blah to him - so let's also make him as obnoxious as possible! Boring.

Glad that the Sylar + Sylad thing is finally over, bleh.

The Claire stuff was ok, albeit a bit too Gossip Girl for my taste.

Non-stupid Peter two weeks in a row was pretty sweet, at least.

Decent ep, though the whole Claire + Aquaboy escape took way too long. So you'd admit to having underage sex rather than having a mutant in the house... righhttt.

So what happens when Peter touches Sylar? Massive feedback? Peter gets all Sylar's powers? Hmm.. I guess this would be the showdown that ends the season. Still, it has improved.

PS: First post shows Hiro but he's absent.

I really gotta wonder if the folks putting this show together gets what an arch-villain is supposed to be. This guy looks like he's undergoing chemotherapy. He's supposed to be scary?
