Level Up (A5E) [+] What features should a "Advanced 5E" have?

A lot of it is, certainly. I'm more just curious why one wouldn't just play 3.x/PF if they were seeking those things, rather than trying to make 5e into 3.x/PF. It's not like there's a dearth of material available for the 3.x/PF rulesets that isn't still easy to come by. I mean sure, new and shiny is appealing, but there's just so much STUFF for 3.x/PF...all the stuff many are craving for 5e....which means those seeking it would probably get more from playing 3.x/PF than 5e.

It's not a curiosity born of any desire for conflict mind you. One wants what one wants. If that's all it is, that makes enough sense for me...it's just straight up curiosity. :)

Because 5E is a far superior system, and those few items are not conclusive with 'just playing 3.x/PF'
but would be a nice addition if one wanted to make 5E 'advanced'

You know what I'd want

Nuetral Good and Chaotic Good Outsiders

We have Angels and Coatls filling out all sides of good and Celestials.
I would love for a definite split of LG, NG, and CG celestials like the devils, daemons, demons have for fiends. I had to create my own CG outsiders. They are fun but they don't work for everyone. I would love LG, NG, and CG to be more defined in the cosmos and then displayed as monsters and subclasses.

I seem to recall them having these in past editions. I recall the Agathinons being the NG celestials...and I believe the CG good ones were Eladrins (before 4e turned them into an elven subrace).

I don't recall all that much being done with them besides their entries in the various monster manuals, since, generally, good-aligned anything were not generally opponents the PCs faced.

I was thinking more for subclasses, spells, magic items.

Much how devils are known for tactical thought and demons are known for brute strength, I was hoping for more nuance on good aligned features of the game than more radiant damage and resistence.

For example the CG outsiders in my family game setting are literally anime/manga/manhua protagonists and more martial/elemental in nature.

I agree with others that have suggested a supplement with sections of rules that can be bolted onto the 5e game without buying into an entirely new framework.

I would love to see insanity rules.
Social rank rules.
Journey rules.
Magic backlash rules.
Magic items with a benefit and a drawback.
Stronghold and castle pieces and suggested prices.
Morale rules for monsters.
Expanded skill list with perhaps a sub-skill system.
Party abilities.
Alternative Inspiration rules.
