D&D 5E Aberrant Mind's Psionic Sorcery is officially the most powerful feature.

Why not? You choose the level of your spells. Always.
Because casting a spell at higher level requires spell SLOTS. The psionic spells feature does not use slots, you cannot use it to cast an 8th level spell when your character is level 9.
The Aberrant Mind can upcast spells normally, if you have spell slots or sorcery point.
They can upcast spells using spell slots. Which means they need to be level 15 to have any 8th level spell slots.

There a lot of good spells. And no, Spam Dissonant Whisper as cantrip is golden. ++
Sometimes there are too many good spells. Remember, you can only have two spells at each level (1-5) with this feature. So you can't have Arm of Hadar, Dissonant Whispers and Hex. and you are still using resources to spam dissonant whispers. It is not a cantrip You could probably do it all day if you converted your spell slots, but that would consume the resources that could have been used for other things. And after level 11 actual cantrips like firebolt do more damage.

I beg to disagree, I choose Sorcery Point instead Spells slots.
Psionic Sorcery.
"or by spending a number of sorcery points equal to the spell's level."
I choose Summon Aberrant Level 8 and I will choose spend Sorcery Points for it. RAW.

The Whisper always damages the enemy, cantrip not.
Also, the strong power of Dissonant Whisper isn't direct damage, It's free PARTY's oportunity attack. It's great, always, a single sorcery point.

That is one of the most idiotic rules interpretations I have ever seen. Summon Aberration is a 4th level spell. You can cast a 4th level spell using an 8th level spell slot if you have one, BUT IT IS STILL A FOURTH LEVEL SPELL. Psionic sorcery lets you cast a spell using a number of points EQUAL TO THE SPELL'S LEVEL -i.e. 4.

Choose a class: bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, warlock, or wizard. You learn two cantrips of your choice from that class's spell list.

In addition, choose one 1st-level spell from that same list. You learn that spell and can cast it at its lowest level. Once you cast it, you must finish a long rest before you can cast it again using this feat.

Your spellcasting ability for these spells depends on the class you chose: Charisma for bard, sorcerer, or warlock; Wisdom for cleric or druid; or Intelligence for wizard.

I beg to disagree, Psionic Sorcery has no restriction to cast it ar its lowest level as Magic Initiate does.

You always choose the spell level, if you have spell slot or now, sorcery points.
It's RAW. Clear as Water. Balanced? Certainly not.

No. It is not RAW. Using a higher level spell slot does not make the spell itself higher level. THAT IS RAW. See Dispel Magic, for example. You can NEVER choose the spell's level. That is listed in the book - RAW. You can choose to cast a spell using a higher level spell SLOT. That may change the effect of the spell, but not the level of the spell. RAW.

Also IT'S COMPLETLY INSANE.

Sorry, here you are wrong
I bag to disagree.
"When a spellcaster casts a spell using a slot that is of a higher level than the spell, the spell assumes the higher level for that casting"

Now using Sorcerer Points, The spells assumes level 8. RAW

There isnt any upcasting restriction on Psionic Sorcery as Magic Initiate does. But you can rule against It.

It turns Aberrant Soul and Cloakwork Soul more versatile than Wizards. Psionic Sorcery is too strong!
Summon Contruct, I can't read this.. Did you?
Dude. You're the only one here who thinks that this is way too strong. When you are talking to several long time players and every one of them disagree with your assessment, maybe it's time to stop thinking that you're the only one who knows how to play a sorcerer and maybe start thinking that it's not really as powerful as you are making it out to be.

I bag to disagree.
You can "bag" to disagree all you like, it doesn't change the fact that you are wrong.

NB, Magic initiate states the level because there are some innate spells that are not cast at their lowest level. It's not in the description of psionic sorcery because the author is assuming the reader is not an idiot - always a mistake (expect an errata).

I don't think that word means what you think it means...
