D&D (2024) Ranger 2024 is a bigger joke than Ranger 2014:

Well that is because a large proportion of the D&D fan base have no desire to play the expiration part of the game.

And a noticeable percentage of the portion who do want to run exploration which to run the tedious part that the other portion doesn't want to run.

Like I said before the 2024 addition of the Ranger was made just to ensure that you have a ranger that doesn't suck mechanically. Because flavor-wise the community does not agree at all and attempting to please one group opposes the wishes of another group.
I disagree. The game material for 5th ed NEVER had support for exploration. So saying "people don't want exploration cause they don't do it" is meaningless when there is no support for it.
Thats like say middle ages people hated flying, because none of them ever booked a flight...

Those aren't support. They are magic "I win" buttons designed to render the experience of exploration and survival meaningless so the party can, "get to the action". šŸ™
Jump is an i win button?
Speak with Animals lets you bypass exploration?

Or do you mean air bubble and locate object?

Pass Without a Trace could be towned down. +5 would still be plenty powerful. Or just letting others creatures use your stealth stat.

Is there any game material for 5th edition that covers social interaction?

Jump I'll give you, but the rest go a long way towards neutering the experience in one way or another, because they're all very reliable and let you skip things it would otherwise take time and effort to do. And other spells, like Goodberry and Tiny Hut, are much worse.

There is 100% rules for exploration in the DMG.

It however are rules for grognards for campaigns 95% of 5e tables don't run.

In WOTC's material? The usually-Charisma-based skills, and arguable background traits, and some downtime stuff.

In other 5E material there's lots. Level Up comes to mind, but I know I've seen products that focus on fleshing out the social pillar.
A character class in Level Up has class features for combat, exploration and social interaction.
