D&D (2024) PHB 2024 Is Hilariously Broken. Most OP of All Time?

That now takes 2 people, an gives several turns for minions to break concentration.

Also seems like Cloud of Daggers would be better. No save.

Valor + Eldritch Blast + Nick + Dual Wielding = 7 attacks
*xd8 from CME.

You will 1 shot most things.

Bladesinger too.

That's because there wasn't any good attack rolls for high level wizards to make, and plenty of other ways to get advantage.
Like Greater Invisibly.

I like foresight. Long duration, applies to saves, no concentration and no concentration x2.

I don't think splashing for Eldritch Blast is that viable outside of bards.

Sorcerer also like Eldritch Blast, especially with Quicken.

But they don't get Conjure Minor Elemental.

Aware sorcerer would really blow it open.

Bard/warlock could do it by level 9 bit it'd not really a problem then.

Level 11 (bard 10/warlock 1) would be where you can really start abusing it imho.

A bit yea, though you only have 2 level 5 slots at that point. So a DM could still manage.

Valor 10/warlock 1/sorcerer 2 (13 total) is when it would get disruptive.

Valor 6/Bladesinger 7/warlock 1/(sorcerer 2) is probably the ultimate, as you can replace each attack with EB, but I wouldn't want to play that at lower levels.

It would be pretty strong even without CME.

That's mostly a theoretical build. Unplayable early and long time to go to switching on.

1 or two levels of a warlock on any charisma based class tends to switch on early.

Druid 7 or 9/warlock 1 doesn't really work. Not much better with wizard.

Bladesinger / Valor. Yea. That's theoretical.

Valor would like Pact of the Blade. So an easy dip, and the warlock slot is an extra Bardic Inspiration.
So even you don't make it to 10, it's a good option.

Unless there is a multi attacking beast, I don't see much from them.

Forgot about beast form. Need the MM.

I still don't expect a beast with 5+ attacks. Likely 3 at most, and dip monk 2 for 2 more.

So 5 attacks at best?

Still probably OP, but not quite on the ridiculousness the bard can do.

2 or 3 if I had to guess.

Probably similar to 2014 they're tweaking higher CR more it seems.

Air elemental using CME you might see.

Mammoth is unlikely in most games.

I finally got my hands on one. A coworker constantly comes in my office talking about how “great” some new powerful thing is. “Yeah they are great you can get x attacks now and do y damage!”

The whole time I am left wondering why that would necessarily entice me but 🤷‍♂️

So I got my hands on a book and read sections. I hate to say I see a number of solutions looking for problems. I know we need the MM and DMG for a full picture.

I was hoping to get a charge and that old excitement for a new book and it was simply not to be found. Most of the art left me flat too after I whetted my appetite on preview pics that were better that the whole.

But most OP ever? I don’t know. There was crazy stuff to be found in 3e wasn’t there? I will say any power bump was the most unnecessary ever.
