That looks awesome.

A Board Game where you have to do more Roleplay than with an RPG. Dance off, Rhyme battle and describing your attacks and death blows... 8D

and the art is pretty poor us less cheap comic is what they were going for. Production values look a bit disappointing all in all.

Yeah I was wondering if I was the only one seeing that? It looks like a cheap splodgey unfinished acrylic painting. I'm reminded of GCSE art. I get that the minis and card and stuff may need to be cheap in order to keep production costs way down for the $25 price (which is mad low), but you can still have really expensive, cool-looking art, people!

I did criticise the art one one thing in 4E or 5E and it was like this, and just turned out to be unfinished, but this kinda seems finished.

Haven’t played many board games but the back of the loot loot loot card, how does that “Name what you find inside” work? Granted we dont know if there’s a list to choose from or just the person can say mithril axe or pretty hair comb...but for $25 I can buy it and find out 👍

I assume it's simply an encouragement to be creative. The final score would be "count your loot cards".

There are some dungeon-crawler board games, but HQ was different. Simple rules to be learn by children, the exploration was like a laybrinth, searching traps and hidden doors, and a soft leveling-up, earning to buy better item. I don't remember these elements together in other board game. Maybe one, but with complicated rules.

I wonder about if dungeoncrawl boardgames should use an mobile app as the monster AI and to show the unlocked traps and secret doors.

Besides missing out on a few WotC IP monsters, what's stopping you from using Pathfinder Pawns in D&D?
That's basically what's stopping me. I also prefer the artwork to correspond to monster manual artwork (actually I'm basically not a fan of Pathfinder's anime style)
