Okay, let's see…

The Amiraspian is still missing some spaces in its damage expressions as mentioned a few posts ago:

There's some missing spaces in the Actions: its Battleaxe should have "6 (1d8 + 2)" and the Heavy Crossbow "6 (1d8 + 2)".

Also, its Battleaxe should have "Melee Weapon Attack: +4" not +6.

Oh, and I think there's a stray space before the word Battleaxe as the first line in the paragraph looks slightly indented compared to the rest.

The Amiraspi Cyclops has similar missing spaces in the damage expressions of its bite, claw and greatclub (e.g. its Bite should do "1d6 + 4" not 1d6+4) plus it's got the traditional "lost the linespace before the credit" error.

The Amiraspi Cyclops Chief has the same missing spaces in ALL its damage expressions (e.g. its Glaive should do "2d10 + 5" not 2d10+5), plus the linespace-before-credit error, and still has the obsolete version of Poor Depth Perception mentioned earlier:

The Poor Depth Perception also has the wrong description. It should be "The amiraspian has disadvantage on attack rolls with a ranged weapon or melee weapon if the target is more than 5 feet away."

EDIT: Dammit! I just noticed it has the same error in the Current D&D Beyond Cyclops Chief and Young Cyclops.

The Amiraspi Cyclops, Young has the missing-spaces-in-damage error, the wrong-depth-perception-text error and its "claws" has a total of three errors. It should be:

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) slashing damage.

Upon reflection, I'm tempted to change the heavy crossbow of the Amiraspian to a longbow.

Firstly, the classic Amiraspi were based on Scythians, who were famous for their skill with bows.

Secondly, I'm leaning towards the Griffon Rider having a longbow as it'd be far more effective from griffon back. If griffon riders used longbows I think it'd make sense for regular amiraspian warriors to use them too. It seems unlikely that the relatively small Amiraspi communities would manufacture multiple types of missile weapons.

I only gave the original design a Heavy Crossbow because it does a point more damage, but thinking it over again I don't like it so much.

Would you object to me changing the Amiraspian's crossbow to the following?

Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) piercing damage.

Amiraspi Cyclops (issue is there is alot of formatting text that makes pasting actions annoying as I lose all the coding)

Amiraspi Cyclops Chief

Amiraspi Cyclops, Young

Amiraspian

Pondering with griffon rider whether lance+scimitar or spear (both melee/thrown)

If at first you don't succeed, try try again!

Let's see…

The Amiraspi Cyclops is good to go.

The Amiraspi Cyclops Chief is good to go.

The Amiraspi Cyclops, Young is good to go.

The Amiraspian is good to go.

Looks like they're all fine now!

Deblued the Amiraspian and updated the White Dwarf Conversion Index and Completed Fifth Edition Creatures Index.

The problem with a lance is the special rule of "You have disadvantage when you use a lance
to attack a target within 5 feet of you" combined with an Amiraspian's Poor Depth Perception means it'd ALWAYS have disadvantage unless it uses some ability to advantage (or un-disadvantage) its attack roll.

Then again, I was considering giving them an ability that gets around their Poor Depth Perception, so that's not much of an issue.

Going by ancient Greek illustrations, the Arimaspi liked battleaxes (wielded one-handed or two-handed) as well as spears and shortswords.

So I'm leaning towards giving the Griffon Rider battleaxe + longbow like an ordinary Amiraspian.

Would be game giving it another weapon on top of that, and lance is as good as any. Plus it's a weapon that needs a bit of love considering how few 5E creatures use it. Even the standard NPC Knight doesn't use a lance, which is pretty bizarre.

Might whip up a rough draft for a knightly-style Griffon Rider and then ponder as to whether I want to do a warlock/spellcasting style one as well.

The answer to the latter will probably be "yes".

Okay, I've whipped up an Amiraspian Griffon Rider Working Draft I'm pretty happy with:

Amiraspian Griffon Rider
Medium humanoid, any non-lawful alignment
Armor Class 15 (chain shirt)
Hit Points 97 (15d8 + 30)
Speed 30 ft.

STR
DEX
CON
INT
WIS
CHA
17 (+3)
15 (+2)
14 (+2)
10 (+0)
14 (+2)
13 (+1)

Saving Throws STR +5, DEX +4, WIS +4
Skills Acrobatics +4, Animal Handling +4, Athletics +5, Perception +4
Senses darkvision 60 ft., passive Perception 14
Languages Common and either Giant, Gnoll or Common
Challenge 3 (700 XP) Proficiency Bonus +2

Monocular Illusion Resistance. The amiraspian has advantage on saving throws against illusions that include visual elements it can see.

Poor Depth Perception. The amiraspian has disadvantage on attack rolls with a ranged weapon or melee weapon if the target is more than 5 feet away.

Scythian Marksmanship. A griffon rider gains a +1 bonus to attack rolls it makes with ranged weapons.

Running Leap. With a 10-foot running start, the griffon rider can long jump up to 25 feet.

Actions

Multiattack. The griffon rider makes two attacks with its melee or ranged weapons.

Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage, or 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage if used with two hands.

Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.

Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage, or 7 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.

Bonus Actions

Eye of the Eagle. The griffon rider selects a target it can see within ### feet. As long as the griffon rider maintains concentration, it can attack the selected target without disadvantage on attack rolls from its Poor Depth Perception. The griffon rider can end this effect as a free action, literally in an eye blink.
Should the griffon rider already have an Eye of the Eagle target when it uses Eye of the Eagle, the griffon rider gains advantage on its next ranged attack roll against the selected target if it still has concentration.

Pounce of the Lion. If the griffon rider moves at least 20 feet straight towards a creature, it can use its bonus action to increase its speed to 50 feet. If it then hits the creature with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw of be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the griffon rider can make one additional melee weapon attack against it as a reaction.

Reactions

Slow Fall. The griffon rider can use a reaction when it falls to reduce any falling damage it takes by 30 points.
